"We wrote True Love in the same jump blues style as the rest of the record we made in 1989. It was written as a feel good love song. I wrote the melody on piano because it gave me the freedom that i was looking for, to walk the bass in the left hand and have the melody in the right, (as in songs like "Fever" and "Moondance"). When I showed the song to the band I jumped on guitar and away we went! And of course, Patricia's vocals sounded absolutely beautiful on the recording." ~Spyder
